Woods of Windsor brand of fragrances comes from a small apothecary opened in 1770, located in the shadow of Windsor Castle, a medieval castle in the English county of Berkshire. The apothecary became very respected due to its services to the Royal Family. Woods of Windsor launched its first collection of men’s fragrances in 1981, inspired by a formulation that was originally used to scent Spanish leather.
